A little late but here are a few thankful moments in 1st grade. The kids enjoyed creating Turkey Glyphs this Thanksgiving along with some cute Turkey Thoughts!
We invited some of our friends from 4th grade to help us weave some placemats just like in the early colonial days. Afterward, we graphed our favorite PIE, Apple or Pumpkin and enjoyed delicious pies and gave thanks to our wonderful parents!
I have so much to be thankful for this year. May you all continue to have a terrific 1st Semester!
Happy Holidays!!!

Fun October Activities
Have I shared lately how much I love blogging? I have picked up so many wonderful ideas and had as great time with my kiddoes!!! Here are just a few.....
Where's My Mummy? Is an adorable Halloween book. Loved the art and writing activity. I also found a great unit on Silly Monster fun math and literacy. Lots of fun and perfectly age appropriate!
We also have a fabulous new librarian...I love how she "hooks" the kids with a great book and a fun activity right afterwards...here they are after a pirate story...Arghhhh!!!!!
